Tyler the Creator performs new album for Amazon Music’s Brooklyn Crowd – VIBE.com

Blonde-haired bomber, Tyler The Creator has one of those epic races again with a new album as he continues to present his sixth studio album, Call me if you get lost. After a relatively short pre-release marketing campaign, CMIYGL appeared on June 25 (debutant No. 1 on Billboard’s 200) right after the release of two steaming singles. “Lumberjack” and “WasYaName.”

Tyler recently released a few videos and had one of the best performances for the BET Awards debut with his 2021 set that took creativity to new heights. After all the heat, Tyler rocked the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, New York on July 1. The surprise spot was broadcast by Amazon Music Twitch Channel and presented by Rotation and produced by AEG Presents. The free-spirited artist also did sets for the series in LA the previous Tuesday and in Dallas on Wednesday.

The energetic crowd, which scored for free, only pushed Tyler to give it their all as he discussed every track on the album before the action kicked in. Hearing how he made his first Reggae beat is a treat. An avid visual perfectionist, Tyler really let his guard down and let the flashing lights and his commentary run the show as the show had an intimate feel with the crowd.

You have to give it to the 30-year-old California native for bringing the hour-long show to life in hard-bottomed shoes, tubular socks, above-knee shorts, and a winter hat to the place conducive to perspiration.
