May 18 (SGT), Rolling stone announced that the South Korean entertainment company, home to global superstars BTS, had joined the “Techstars Music Accelerator” program as an investor partner. Managed by an American seed company Techstars‘music-oriented division Techstars Music, the program uses technology to solve problems in the fields of music and entertainment. It does this by supporting startups and connecting them with leading companies around the world.

With this movement, HYBE became the latest addition to Techstars Music Acceleratorthe list of investor partners, which also includes Amazon Music, Avex, Warner Music Group, Sony, Right hand music group, Exchange of royalties, platoon, Entertainment A, Quality control, Bill Silva Entertainment (ESB), and Concorde. The company, which was previously known as Big Hit Entertainment, will be involved in next year’s edition of the program as well as subsequent ones.
HYBE vision laboratory‘s Paul Sung Woo Choi told Rolling Stone, âWe look forward to working with Techstars Music and the global music startup community to develop and expand the global music industry. ”
He added, âWe are also excited to be working alongside other member companies to bring the world together through innovation, technology, culture and entertainment.
The current iteration of Techstars Music Accelerator started in February 2021 and will end with “Demonstration day” to May 19, 2021 (SGT). On the last day of the program, startups will be invited to present their projects to the public and to maintain relationships with potential investors.
This year’s lineup of startups includes the Swiss social video platform and marketplace Favorites (who HYBE WEVERSE COMPANY subsidiary recently invested), British AR and VR platform Volta, hologram streaming service Holotch, and more.
Techstars Music Accelerator‘s Demonstration day will be broadcast via the official Rolling Stone website Tic channel to 5:00 a.m. on May 19, 2021 (SGT / PHT).
