DJ Mode is a new on-demand listening experience from the music streaming service, launched with their first host Billie Eilish.

Spotify recently experimented with mixing music and spoken word with features like Music + Talk, as well as playlists designed for you like Checked in, Daily driving and Daily well-being. Similar to Pandora’s Artist Takeovers, Amazon Music is now focusing on a similar mix of music and commentary from top DJs, star performers, musical expectations and taste makers, as well as musical facts and trivia from Alexa.

Amazon Music’s DJ mode will see commentators sharing trivia and new music recommendations between songs on a station. The first host is American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish, who presents her favorite songs and talks about the inspirations, influences and stories behind her new album. You can find Billie Eilish station by searching The redemption of Billie Eilish. Alongside the superstar, there are also new DJ-hosted stations across hip-hop, country and pop, with Rap rotation, Country heat and Every time. The selection and the sequencing of the songs are personalized according to the tastes of the listeners. Amazon Music says more stations will follow soon.

DJ Mode launched yesterday and is available to all Prime members and Amazon Music subscribers in the United States. Stations are an opt-in experience, which means listeners who prefer uninterrupted music can still enjoy these stations, without commentary. Find DJ mode here, ask Alexa, use car mode or the Amazon Music app on iOS, Android, and Fire TV. Speaking of the different stations, Amazon said:
