Event raises funds for at-risk youth
The Amazon Music Twitch channel is streaming Breland & Friends’ star-studded benefit concert live on Tuesday, April 12. The event will be held at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville to meet the needs of the city’s youth.
Hosted by groundbreaking Amazon Music artist, the concert, sponsored by Amazon Music, features Dierks Bentley, Tyler Braden, Kane Brown, Russell Dickerson, Mickey Guyton, Charles Kelley, RaeLynn, Restless Road, Lily Rose, Seaforth, Brittney Spencer and Sequel.
With the community-focused evening benefiting the Oasis Center — one of Middle Tennessee’s most comprehensive youth development agencies — tickets for the special evening are available, and fans who can’t attend can always help the cause. The show and live stream begins at 8:30 p.m. ET / 5:30 p.m. PT.
Meanwhile, the country’s pioneering newcomer has more in store as the big night approaches.
Released yesterday (Thursday, April 7), Breland is featured in Amazon Music Original’s new feature-length documentary, For love and country. Directed by Joshua Kissi, the film proclaims that country music has always been black music. For love and country is now available to watch in the Amazon Music app and on Prime Video.
On Sunday April 10, Breland will offer a special performance during Special nomination at the CMT Music Awards — a half-hour celebration with the CMT Music Awards nominees at 9 p.m. ET — and when the 2022 CMT Music Awards take place the following night, he’ll be all over the stage.
Scheduled for Monday, April 11 and airing live on CBS for the first time, the 2022 CMT Music Awards returns to Nashville as the nation’s only 100% fan-voted awards show at 8 p.m. ET. Breland is nominated three times in his first appearance on the show’s ballot and will also perform his uplifting new track, “Praise The Lord.”
