In May, two of her songs were sung by artists shortlisted for the Stephen Sondheim Society’s Student Artist of the Year competition, held on May 27 at the Queens Theater. Two of Bloom’s songs were entered in the famous Stiles and Drewe Best New Song Prize competition, as part of the same event.

Bloom’s recording features, among others: Christine Ebersole, Aaron Lazar, Howard McGillin, Jason Graae, Gregory Jbara and Vicki Lewis. The CD is produced, orchestrated and directed by David Snyder whose clients include Tony Award winner Ebersole, American Idol star Clay Aiken, The Manhattan Transfer and a host of other famous names.

Closer to home on June 20, Mr. Bloom’s music will appear in the New York-based Concert at Tudor City Greens series, produced by Raissa Katona Bennett with musical direction by Mark Janas. Award-winning singer Julie Reyburn will perform “This Lake”.
